About Rebecca

Across sixteen years developing and growing a business, I gained a broad range of skills in organisational development, change management, and all of the other aspects of start-up and growth: from big picture decision-making, to the nitty-gritty details.

I co-founded Fountain, an award-winning digital marketing agency in 2009. After serving as Managing Director, in 2020 I handed the reins to a new generation of leadership. I then stayed in the wings, supporting and mentoring, and stepping in as maternity cover.

My core focus across my career has been in building a workplace in which individuals can thrive, and a working culture that supports expert practitioners to grow, develop and do their best work. In 2022 I was thrilled to lead the business to become B-Corp certified, and am passionate about ethical and sustainable business.

I have mentored and coached other business founders through times of challenge and growth. I have served as a Board Advisor and have been brought in to facilitate workshops with teams, including on topics of collaborative problem-solving, setting ways of working, and feedback gathering sessions in larger organisations.

Before business, my background was in theatre: I graduated with a Drama degree from UEA in 2006, and was part of founding a touring theatre company. When running workshops, I use theatre-in-business techniques and participatory learning practices to bring teams together around creative solutions to the issues they face at work.

Beyond work, I am the mother of a small person who keeps me eternally on my toes, a crafter and maker, and I write fiction – in 2024 I gained representation with an amazing literary agent, and am working towards my dream of becoming a published author.
